If you noticed lately… that is for those who follow me closely, I just changed the watermark on my pictures from © Nin’s Travelog to ©2013 | NIN’S LENSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY, that is because I am changing my brand. Yes, I will still blog on Nin’s Travelog, because this is my original work, I started blogging first then I added photographs more and more, until I realized that I got a bit obsessed with my photography work, not only as a snap happy taking picture blogger. That was when I started to do photoblogging at Nin’s Lenscape and even further, I want to take the photography into the next level.
But when I took this theme, I began to question myself, if I still needed the other blog (the photoblog)? as I still could upload pictures, only post on this blog? Even when I commented on other photobloggers, I ended up commenting as Nin’s Travelog the normal blog, instead Nin’s Lenscape. This is why I decided to close down my photoblog and move/migrate all my posts on Nin’s Lenscape to Nin’s Travelog as you can see it started today; my identity then will be Nin’s Travelog as well as my focus will only be on one thing, blogging, instead of photography.
I will however carry on uploading good photographs on a special photography website, that is on SmugMug, as a specialized website, where you can also buy a copy of it if you happen to be interested on what you see. And that website will be the real Nin’s Lenscape Photography collection where will only upload the best pictures with no serious narration. There you will see different photos that I never uploaded elsewhere before.
The theme of this photography site will always be about my travels, and I don’t think it’s “the next level” of photography yet. My aim was to be able to produce photographs as good as postcards, even though the occasions of my travels might not enable me to take the photos at the right moment as most professional photographers who make postcards.
Anyway, please take a look at my new photography website and the new look of my blog.
As of my New Year Resolution? well, I must admit that I don’t have any resolutions in terms of blogging, as I can’t make myself too ambitious. To be able to blog once a week regularly is very good but too ambitious for me. I would be happy if I can blog twice a month on a regular basis, say every 2nd and the 16th of the month, I would be very happy as blogging times tend to be disrupted after a too exciting break/holidays; it’s hard to get back to a routine.
